The Harborside Hotel And Marina Bar Harbor, Bar Harbor

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was tastefully decorated in nautical decor and very well appointed, offering a nice view of the harbor. The service was friendly and helpful, although some renovations and staff training could be beneficial. The location couldn't have been better, absolute seafront and right next to where the boats and trolley-buses leave from. The dining was cozy with beautiful views, serving incredible blueberry pancakes. The facilities were top-notch.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were beautifully furnished and had a stunning view of the harbor, along with thoughtful touches like fine linens and a welcoming congratulatory note and wine. However, the noise levels were quite disruptive, making it hard to have a conversation in the same room.

As a family of 14 staying in 6 rooms on the east side of the building with perfect sunrise views from the balcony, the hotel offers a convenient location close to many attractions and features a beautiful pool and hot tub. However, the long distances to the rooms and the mix-up with bed sizes were a downside.
